Here is a great picture of Porter and Tyler with their Grandpa Miller.

We went swimming at Brandon's Aunt Marsha's house. The boys had a blast. Besides stopping briefly to eat lunch, I think Porter swam for 4 hours straight. Here is a picture of Porter being tossed into the water by his Aunt Meredith.

We went to a really cute children's museum in Everett. Below you can see Grandma Miller pretending to serve the boys in a restaurant, Porter pretending to be a veterinarian, and Blake playing on the huge playground on the top of the museum. And we completed the day with dinner at Burgermaster. Yum!

Then we went to Jetty Island. It is a very small island that has a fun little beach, however, we were very unprepared. I thought since it had been pretty chilly outside, there would be no way the boys would want to swim. Well, the boys stripped down to their shorts and Blake ran around in his diaper. We didn't even bring towels so we had to get creative using jackets and such to wipe off sand and dry off.

Babies and sand are not a good combo. They just don't care how much sand gets up in their diaper, or stuck to their bodies, or in their mouth, ears, and nose. However, I've concluded that there is no use fighting it.

To market, to market to buy a fat pig. I always enjoy a trip to Pike Place Market when we go to Seattle. Tyler got a kick out of watching the guys throw huge fish across the market.

While strolling through the market, we couldn't resist the smell coming from a pastry shop we past by. We stopped to grab a couple cinnamon rolls made with Granny Smith apples. Delicious!

The boys wanted to ride a big ferry so we did. We took a short ferry ride from Edmonds to Kington, got some ice cream and caught the next ferry back.

The story behind this picture is bit scary. Grandma Miller and I were baking and we both left the kitchen for a moment. Grandma came back in and found Blake holding this towel and it was engulfed in flames. We think he may have opened the oven and put in the towel. It's an absolute miracle he did not get burned in the process.

Grandma and Grandpa Miller's "rich friends" that live on Mercer Island, invited us over to observe the Seafair festivities on Lake Washington. We got to play, watch the Blue Angels perform, eat good food, and enjoy the beautiful blue sky and 70 degree weather. The boys also swam in their pool. Tyler was the only one brave enough to jump into the cold lake.

I guess Tyler set the record for youngest to jump off their diving board into the lake.

We are happy that Aunt Ramonah got to spend a lot of time with us during the week. She just had a beautiful baby girl back in April. Porter and Tyler absolutely loved their new cousin, Maleah.

We had such a good time and the kids were so sad to leave. They cried on the flight home, when they weren't watching a DVD, of course. After getting home, it even took them a good week to get over it. They kept asking when we were going to go back to Grandma and Grandpa Miller's house. We love you, Grandma and Grandpa! Thanks for letting come up and hang out with you for a week.
