Haircuts and Presents

Last week I took Blake to Great Clips for his first professional haircut. His hair is so soft and so blond that I didn't want it cut. I'm glad I took him. He looks so handsome. He went from looking like a baby to looking like a little boy.

Before

After

I also wanted to show you my present that my loving, thoughtful, handsome, wonderful husband surprised me with on my birthday. It's so fabulous! I am so excited about this machine! It runs so quiet and smooth. The needle runs through several layers of fabric like butter and I don't have to re-thread the machine every 2 minutes. Not to mention the nice happy thoughts that go through my head while using my new machine as opposed to the muffled cursing that may have occurred with my old machine. These are just a few things that make this sewing machine so great. I am already on my third project. Happy Birthday, or should I say Happy Sewing to me!

To Brandon,
I can't thank you enough for such a great surprise. I love you so much!

Blake is adorableness. So handsome with his haircut! Sweet machine! I should come over and sew with you and you could show me the ropes. I am clueless unless someone sits with me and tells me what to do - I can use my machine just fine, it's reading the patterns that makes me crazy!!
