Pretty much I have always hated doing this...

...until this last summer. Now I have signed my self up for this.
I've never ran in a race before and now that this 10k is less than a week away I'm starting to get a little nervous. I know that for some of you running 6.2 miles might be a breeze but for me this a big deal. I guess I'm afraid of making a fool out of myself with all the experience runners. I'm kind of a slow runner but I really hope I'm not among the slowest.I think I'm ready, though.
I guess we'll find out this Thanksgiving morning.

I don't even like to "run" upstairs...good on you! And good luck!
YOU CAN DO IT! The races make all the running worth it! You're going to feel SO good when you cross that finish line! Good luck!
Way to go Meghann! I don't think will ever run again unless it is for a race (and the prep, of course). I hope the 10K goes well.
