So Brandon has been bugging me for a while to update the blog. Today when I looked back at all our pictures I realized that it wasn't just Christmas that I needed to blog about. So here goes a quick summary of our Holiday fun.
First, we had a nice, quiet Thanksgiving here in Albuquerque. We started out the day with a Turkey trot. I ran the 5k and the kids ran in the kids run. It was fun and the kids did great. Porter loves to race whether its a running race or to see who can finish their dinner first. So this was a dream come true for him. He wouldn't stop talking about it for weeks.

My little Ty also had a birthday in December. He turned 5 years old. Here is some pictures from his superhero birthday party. I made each boy their own personalized superhero cape and they all got to decorate their own superhero mask.

Then Grandpa and Grandpa Miller came to visit and we had such a great time with them. They were here over Tyler's birthday. For Tyler's birthday we took the tram up to Sandia Peak, played in the snow and the freezing cold wind up there, had lunch at Subway, saw the movie Fantastic Mr Fox, went to Chuck E Cheese, went out for yummy Mediterranean food and then went home and had ice cream.

We took a trip to the New Mexico Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science.

Finally, we had the best Christmas.

The month of December was a little strange for me this year. I think a large part of it is living in Albuquerque where we don't really know a lot of people yet. Because of this I really wanted to head up to Utah this year. I had asked Brandon if we could drive up there the day after Christmas to spend winter break. He told me "no way" he was driving up there. Christmas morning Brandon surprised us with a trip to Utah. I cried. It was the best surprise. We all flew up there Christmas Day. I had 3 hours to pack. It was awesome. It's been a long time since I've spent Christmas with my family and the first time they've been able spend Christmas with Tyler and Blake.
In fact, we had so much fun I neglected to take very many pictures. Here are some of us at Temple Square and tubing at Gorgoza Park.

Here are some action shots of us going down the hill.
