Summer Highlights

We had a super fun and busy summer. It included
little league baseball playoffs,
tennis lessons,
lots of swimming,
basketball camp,
a week at Mission Beach, San Diego, CA,
and to wrap it all up we squeezed in a trip to Salt Lake City.

We stopped at Arches on our way up to Utah.

We hung out with the cousins in Salt Lake. We were so lucky to be there when my sister-in-law, Hannah, had her baby. She wasn't due for another 5 weeks but very little, 4 pound Penny decided she was done.

We went swimming A LOT- both at home and in Salt Lake. While we were in Salt Lake, Blake started swimming without his water wings and then after jumping off the diving board a few times and swimming to the side by himself, he decided he was ready for the high dive.

We also hiked up to Cecret Lake on the Albion Basin of Alta ski resort. I got super nostalgic on this hike. The smell of the trees reminded me of girls camp, camping with my family when I was young and snow skiing. It's been a really long time since I've skied. It's sad. I loved it. I've been living in the desert too long.
