Lately we've been super busy with baseball and soccer. Some people think we're nuts to have two boys playing both soccer and baseball at the same time but we love it. It's fun to watch them play.
He had a fun party with just a few of his friends. We took them to see Rio the movie and then headed over to Red Robin for dinner. One of his friends called it a "grown up" party. I guess this kind of party makes the kids feel "grown up". I loved it because it involved very little planning and stress. Overall it was a lot of fun and everyone was happy.
Porter's baptism was incredible. It couldn't have been more perfect. All the grandpas and grandmas came to visit for the occasion.
What did we do all weekend with all these grandparents? Well we put them to work in our yard of course. My mom helped me pick out perennials to fill my empty flower beds, Grandma Miller helped me plant my first vegetable garden, and Grandma Jackie pruned my roses and ended up with lots of scratches and thorn pricks on her arms and legs to prove it. The boys seeded and mowed the lawn and Grandpa Miller made this awesome tree swing.
