Porter's Tonsilectomy
Porter had to have his tonsils out in July. Here is a picture of him before the surgery. I wish I had an after shoot because for at least a week after he was not smiling. We knew he was going to be miserable but I don't think I anticipated how bad it was going to be. Have you ever seen the back of someone's mouth after tonsils have been removed? HOLY COW! It looks disgustingly painful.

I had no idea how painful these were until my sister had it a few years ago. Ouch! It's kinda nice that Porter got his out when he's little--I think it's even worse for adults.
